European low-cost airlines announce many new routes.

   

SmartWings, the Czech Republic low-cost airline, has just announced its sixth Spanish destinations. From June new flights will be available to Girona, operating from home bases at Ostrava and Brno. In unrelated news, the airline will also start operating flight to Samos from Prague, Brno and Ostrava, and to Kos from Prague and Brno.

Central-European based air carrier Wizz Air will launch a new route from their base at Warsaw, Poland. The new weekly flight will operate to Turku in Finland from April.

Transavia, Air France-KLM’s low-cost operating airline, will this Summer launch seven new routes from Nantes, France. The seven routes will fly to Djerba, Monastir (both in Tunisia), Marrakech (Morocco), Palma (Spain), Funchal, Oporto (both in Portugal) and Heraklion (Greece).

Swiss low-cost airline helvetic will begin operating two new routes to Croatia this Summer. By the end of June the new routes will debut, flying from Zurich to Pula and Rijeka.
